Off to the Lake District again this weekend, so I thought I'd keep the theme up with another shot from a recent Helvellyn trip -It's not quite the dramatic, moody shot from day 19 ("Standing on the Shouldersof Helvellyn"), but it sums up the usual course of action whnever we reach the top of a mountain - find the highest point and pose!

I loved the climb to the top, coming up from Glenridding, and venturing along Striding Edge (in the wind!) - It gives you a great sense of achievement... Until you meet a group of 30 OAP's who've come up from the Thirlmere side, looking totally unfazed and with not a breathless person amongst them -it takes the edge off the achievement a little!
