Aston Martin - V8 vantage

clock September 18, 2013 09:00 by author Martyn

A few months ago, I was asked to shoot a V8 Vantage that a friends father bought for himself as a 60th birthday present. We met up in the Yorkshire Dales, in the Buttertubs Pass & Ribblehead area, to shoot off some images of his pride and joy.

It was a beautiful day - a bit too beautiful, if I'm honest - extremely bright sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky, meant not much in the way of dramatic skies or stunning sunsets, but I was reasonably happy with what I shot...

A Northumberland Wedding...

I've almost finishing the mammoth task of editting all of Danni and Graeme's shots from their wonderful wedding up in Northumberland - The wedding was at the beautiful Linden Hall, MacDonald Hotel, on a fantastic summers day.

The photo's will be being delivered to the bride and groom this week, but in the mean time, here are a couple of the happy couple, on their special day:

A Nottingham Wedding...

I forgot to update my blog at the time, but I've been busy shooting weddings, editing shots, watching Euro 2012, and of course spending as much time as I can with our new arrival, Oscar.

Not much to say about this one in the limitted time I have to pop this post up, other than that it was a wonderful event at the magnificent Woodborough Hall, just north of Nottingham - here's a selection of images from Elean and Andrew's special day: Enjoy!

Location, Location, Location?

"Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads."

Kinda reminded me of something from Back To The Future...! Almost like the car is hovering, thanks to the front wheels being just out of shot

2.5 Seconds, F6.3, ISO 1600... All on the short driveway at home! Taking away the mystery: Shot with the Rig with the car moving... Who says shots are ALL about loaction?!With limited space, you can still get some great results.

Domes... The journey starts here.

Inspired by Andrew Whyte, of who's been producing some serriously amazing long exposure and light painting work for a good while now - I believe his debut release of "domes" was in January this year, and since then, it's remained a closely guarded secret of a select couple of individuals...

I've solved the puzzle.

Watch this space: More to come...
